I’ve been working as a freelance designer since 2007. I started in Northampton, MA after years of working in and managing restaurants. My favorite part was always making the signs or writing out the specials. Now I make the signs and special lists professionally, as well as posters, booklets business cards & whatever print material you might need. I also make websites, and help those who want to make their own, but need a little guidance through the process. I have since moved from the Happy Valley to Cape Cod, MA. I live in a little house in Wellfleet full time with my loyal (and constant) companion, Chopper (a 20 pound terrier terror).
I have a lifelong interest in photography, starting with the disk camera in the 80’s, and currently with the Holga, a medium format film camera. My work is available for purchase framed & matted (20 x 24) or unmatted (12x12) - please contact me for more information.
I am also a self-taught sewist. I make quilts for myself, and anything with a zipper for all. Bags, pouches, wristlets & more can be found under the label, good girl - inspired, of course, by Chopper. My shop is here, and I can also be found at the occasional craft pop up in the outer cape. DESIGN I’m happy to start your project from the beginning, or help you recreate an existing piece (business card, flyer) that you have but can’t edit / update. Usually I can recreate the file almost exactly as the original. I use the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite in my design work. I charge a very reasonable hourly rate for print work. Email me for a quote.
WEB I learned to make websites using HTML & CSS. I now use that knowledge to work with various web building platforms such as Squarespace / Wordpress, Shopify & Bootstrap. I’ve built a variety of sites - portfolio sites, e-commerce sites, restaurant sites and blogs. I also still maintain and update some hand coded HTML sites. As well as building the site I will help you create and optimize your branding and images. Generally sites are a flat rate. Updates & maintenance are an hourly rate. Email me for more info.
